How to choose the right pet bed The dog bed will only fully expand within 24 to 48 hours. Please be patient. The material is NOT water- and dirt-repellent. If your dog is bothered by the studs on the mattress, simply turn the mattress over. The pet bed is NOT recommended for puppies and dogs with sharp claws. The cover is removable with a zipper and washable (at low temperatures). The side panels are washable, but you CANNOT remove the filling from the side panels in advance. The foam mattress and the cover can be removed beforehand. The side cushions are not removable, which may mean the cover of the larger versions may not fit in the washing machine.
